What stays on your device
All your likes, dislikes, watchlist, and taste preferences are stored on your device using Apple's secure storage. Your data syncs across your devices through Apple's iCloud, which is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple — we never have access to it.
AI runs on your device
Watchmood uses Apple's on-device AI to understand your mood and generate personalized suggestions. This AI runs entirely on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Nothing you type, search, or describe ever leaves your device. We never see it.
Movie and TV show information
To show you movie and TV show details (posters, descriptions, cast, trailers, and streaming availability), Watchmood sends anonymous requests to The Movie Database (TMDB) — a public movie information service. These requests do not contain any personal information. No account, no name, no device identifier — just a request for movie data.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising. There are no accounts to create and no personal information to provide.
